It's Jack Lemmon month on AMC. I did double duty the other night (Jack and Billy Wilder!) He was an amazing talent, a gifted artist. I think he picked up the comedic baton...and was still able to do a great straight man. In one of the first scenes, when he's got the girls in the back of the paddy wagon, it's amazing who's face I saw - Peter Sarsgaard.
People are generally polarized by Shirley McClaine, but I think it's her personal life. She shows so much life behind those sparkling eyes...and green hose. Although, I guess it's tough when Warren Beatty is your brother.
