no. 9 Bread and Tulips
I've been meaning to watch this for ages - it's a story that's been repeated over and over. The bored housewife who realises there can be so much more in her life...or that she hasn't been living it. But this is different - it's GOOD. There are so many touches that are just so cute and funny. She tells about how her grandfather died falling off an unfinished bridge. When asking her son if he's on drugs, he replies, "Joints aren't drugs." "Then what are they?" "Joints." On the imdb page, the comment highlighted said it's a movie like only a European can make. Ditto.
